About the Retreat: Strong nonprofit organizations run on more than good intentions. They depend on boards that understand their roles, leaders who collaborate confidently around the financial health of their organizations, and teams that know how to tell their story in ways that inspire people to act.

In This Together is designed around one of the most important relationships in nonprofit leadership: the partnership between the board chair and executive director. Alongside practical sessions on governance, finance, organizational culture, branding, and storytelling, the day includes dedicated time for leaders to connect, learn from one another, and identify next steps for their organizations.
