American Rescue Plan Child Tax Credit

Let’s raise out voice to share the stories of how the expanded Child Tax Credit impacted our children.

If reinstated, the American Rescue Plan Child Tax Credit expansions, particularly the full refundability of the tax credit, “stand to raise 4.1 million children above the poverty line and cut the child poverty rate by more than 40 percent.” Learn more through the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (December 2021 Report). The Child Tax Credit expansions ended in December 2021, and a one-year extension that had been included in President Biden’s domestic spending agenda is in jeopardy.

Let’s raise our voice to share the stories of how the expanded Child Tax Credit impacted our children and families! Let lawmakers know that the Child Tax Credit expansions need to be reinstated in 2022, with full refundability made permanent!

We will share all stories with the federal legislators who represent Bucks and Montgomery Counties: Congresswomen Madeleine Dean and Mary Gay Scanlon, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, and Senators Robert Casey and Patrick Toomey. We encourage you to also share your story directly with your legislator!
