Volunteers are needed for the Your Way Home Montgomery County Point-In-Time Street Count.
As a PIT count volunteer, you will be asked to assist an outreach team and canvass pre-determined locations for homeless individuals and families. All Volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory training.
To become a PIT Count Volunteer, please RSVP on or before January 1,2022
What is the PIT?
The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. HUD requires that Continuums of Care conduct an annual count of people experiencing homelessness who are sheltered in emergency shelter, transitional housing, and Safe Havens on a single night.
