BUCKS Volunteers Needed for Point-In Time (PIT) count – Your Way Home

Volunteers are needed for the United Way of Bucks County Point-In-Time Street Count. Help organize the count, identify locations where homeless people live/spend Time, promote community awareness of homeless issues, and participate in outreach teams. PIT Outreach Team Meeting and Training – held Virtually Friday, January 21st, 2022 2PM-4PM

What is the PIT?

The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. HUD requires that Continuums of Care conduct an annual count of people experiencing homelessness who are sheltered in emergency shelters, transitional housing, and Safe Havens on a single night.
