The Local Leadership Council (LLC) is one strategy being utilized to ensure that the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) is working in an integrated and collaborative way within the local early learning service community. We hope to work collectively with you to enhance the visibility of the ELRC as a hub for early learning resources. We welcome a diverse group of community stakeholders including early childhood programs, providers, families, school districts, higher education, businesses, and funders to participate.

We are working together to assemble and strengthen strong, clear and shared leadership at the local level and build an avenue to improve communication among local leaders, promote shared resources and lead to new and exciting collaborations.

At our last meeting, we explored new topics such as Shared Services and Asset Mapping. We introduced the Infant Toddler Contracted Slots program, discussed ways to expand and how Parent Cafes might fit into it all. If you are unfamiliar with or interested in any of these topics, please get involved. Our goal is to improve the lives of children and families residing in Montgomery County and we can’t do this alone. Early learning program participation is key to our success. Quality Coaches will be available to answer questions and discuss the latest STARS news. We value your input and hope to see you at our next meeting!
