On March 10th at 8 AM, the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and CeaseFirePA are hosting a free virtual training on how to discuss firearm safety with patients. Participants can be eligible to earn FREE continuing medical education credits.

The American Medical Association recognizes gun violence as a public health crisis and PA law allows practitioners to discuss firearm safety with patients. With the proper training you can educate your patients on firearm safety and provide them with resources to store their firearms securely. Storing a firearm securely not only prevents unintentional injuries and deaths but it is also a suicide prevention strategy and impedes theft.
