A Teach for America alumna, Tanisha spent 13 years teaching middle school social studies and has always had a passion for encouraging active citizenship. She is committed to empowering individuals to participate in the democratic process and has served as a Judge of Elections since 2020. Tanisha graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University with a B.A. in English and later earned an M.Ed. in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania.\n
